Gill finds the right balance between motivating me to achieve and exceed my training goals and kicking butt when it is needed. I have progressively gotten stronger training for triathlon, the pain in my hips when running is gone, my stomach is flatter and I am enjoying running for the first time in my life. Not only am I physically stronger but emotionally calmer and happier. Gill takes a holistic approach, not only focusing on core strength and building stamina but also nutrition and health eating. I learn something new every time I work out with her and it is never boring. Crucially, on those inevitable 'bad' days, Gill is able to being both empathy and encouragement to help me persevere with my training. Gill is a real inspiration and fun person to train with.

I’ve been training with Gill at least once a week for over 3 months now which in itself is a miracle given my faddy approach to exercise. I was sure I must be Gill’s worst nightmare, making it quite clear on my 1st session that I had no intention of running anywhere! 3 months on I really look forward to my sessions. With very little running involved Gill has created a brilliant workout for me with differing weights of kettlebells that have enabled me to noticeably improve my fitness and tone up muscles I didn’t know I had. Every time I think I know what’s coming next she comes up with a new approach to our sessions that keeps them fun and distracts me as she takes my effort level up a gear. Most of all I love the results I am getting. The more I see my strength improving the more I look forward to the next session, and I’m rarely out of my black skinny jeans!
